If you couldn't guess from the last post, Nate has been incredibly anxious to shoot his new pistol. He wanted to go shoot it with me when he bought it, but alas, I wasn't in the mood. So earlier tonight, we went with our friends Mallory and Randall to test out Nate's gun and Mallory's new pistol.
It was a pretty nice day, beside the fact that it was very windy.
It was a pretty nice day, beside the fact that it was very windy.
With it being so windy (and apparently my grip on the handle), the bullets kept flying backwards when I shot it. Well...I put my sunglasses on with the setting sun and... in a one-in-a-million chance, a shell casing flew backwards and got caught in my sunglasses. It hurt and burned my face, naturally. Ow!!!
The guys wanted to do a shoot out with their shotguns. Mallory and I practiced our pidgeon-throwing skills. I am pretty terrible at it. I will say that I got better.
When we got back, I decided to do some crafts for our nursery. I found this lamp at the DI and revamped it into....
...this one.
Doesn't it look so much better? I also added the finishing touches to my giraffe panels. The buttons add great detail.
Catch ya later!
