Father's Day

June 16
With Nate as a father-to-be, I thought it was only fitting to celebrate his first Father's Day. To start the morning off, I made him blueberry pancakes with real blueberries and some delicious bacon.

For the first time ever, I made a smoothie. It was actually pretty good. Nate seemed to enjoy it.
We hung around for awhile before we went to church at 1:00. I wouldn't let Nate open his gifts until we got home from church. It nearly killed him, he was so curious.
When we got home, I decided to make his favorite dish for dinner: Shepard's Pie.
I gave him Lavendar essential oil for his back and $20 for a quality pair of cowboy boots. He loved it.
I am so excited for the dad that Nate will get to be for our children. I can't wait to see his heart melt with our little girl. I'm grateful for my own father and all that he has done for me throughout the years. He is truly a valiant one of a kind. :) I love you Dad!
