I'm 21 weeks along! Halfway there. Can't wait to meet this little girl.
July 3
We started off the morning with an OB appt. Our doctor says that she has a really strong heartbeat.

With the 4th of July soon approaching, I decided to make a craft for the fun holiday. I had Nate cut some 2 by 2 pieces of wood for me, then I painted them, glued on the wicks, bow and star and whallah! Crafy rockets!
Nate and I decided to get a jump start on getting things for the baby. When I start teaching this fall, there isn't going to be much time to get anything or decorate, so why not start now?
We found this dresser at the D.I. It needs some work, but we're hoping to turn it into a fairly nice dresser for the nursery.
Nate working hard on sanding it all down for me to prime and paint it. I love my handy-man!
While he worked on the sanding part, I tended to the garden. I pulled weeds, set up my potted tiers and planted a few new flowers.
My gardens are blooming! Looks pretty fancy-schmancy. I love it.
July 4
We got up and ready to go to the Vernal 4th of July parade. We sat with Mallory and her in-laws. It was cool to see the variety of groups, vehicles and floats---Vernal style. Definitely not Taylorsville Dayzz quality, but that's alright.
This is how much Nate was into the parade....
He was awake long enough to eat his breakfast from Subway and watch a few participants before konking out for the rest of the show.
When it ended, we ran to Lowe's for the knobs on the dresser and then we returned home to put the last finishing touchers on the dresser. Looks 100% moh-bettah!
Later that night, we went to the Dunbars for the firework show. Randall's brother, Jarom, did a great job at selecting them. They were pretty fun to watch!
It wouldn't be the 4th of July without sparklers!
Later on in the evening, we heard the Vernal firework show going on. Mallory, Randall, Nate and myself walked down the street to watch the fireworks that were shooting off from the middle school for awhile. It was nice to not have to go anywhere specific to watch them.
When we got back, Ginny (Randall's mom) and Alena brought out the rootbeer floats for dessert. It was truly a wonderful night. This 4th of July turned out to be a very relaxing day.
The dresser turned out great!
