3 Weeks and counting...

It's crazy to think that we'll be getting married in about 3 weeks. Yeah I'm starting a blog for us a little early, but I don't care. I kept looking at my sister-in-law's blog (which is freaking awesome!) and couldn't resist in creating one for Nate and I. Life for us has been great thus far and I can't wait to continue what we've started into the eternities.

Don't we look so happy?

Nate and I met as neighbors in the summer of 2010. Our apartments became fast friends along with a few others in the same complex. Nate developed a crush on me 2 weeks after we met. Since I had recently broken up with my boyfriend, I didn't want to start anything with anyone just yet. Our circle of friends hung out a lot over that summer. I knew he was interested along with his roommate and noticed the chemistry we had as well as the potential of being interested him. He was a great individual who truly honored his priesthood and was well taught by loving parents. His roommates and mine had only good things to say about him. But as luck would have it, I did not reciprocate interest until much later. Summer passed and his crush continued to be strong for me. His roommate, after a heroic effort, moved on and is now happily married to a beautiful girl who was also in our student ward. I didn't realize my affection for Nate until a new girl moved into our circle of friends. Nate was semi-interested ("but knew it wouldn't work out" says he...plus he still secretly liked me) in her but it fell short. I became somewhat jealous of the two. "Why was I jealous? I didn't like him." I would ask myself.

Last fall, my feelings grew for him to a considerable amount. To the point where my roommates pounced on him at an FHE activity suggesting to take me out that Friday since I didn't have to work that night. We went out, stayed up until 4 in the morning and then he kissed me on my doorstep. I originally wasn't going to let him cause it was his first, but I gave way and got really excited after I walked inside. It was definitely the start of something. Two weeks passed and we started dating officially. There wasn't any DTR at all, Nate just called me his girlfriend and my response was: I'm your girlfriend? Ok I'm fine with that.

I'm pretty sure you know the rest of that story considering we're getting sealed in the Bountiful Temple in 3 WEEKS! :)
