Bear Lake

July 23 - July 26
(Warning: TONS of pictures)
After Tania left, we packed up and headed north to Bear Lake. We arrived in the early evening. Ate some left over pizza, relaxed and hung out with the family.
The following morning, we headed to the beach. It was such a nice day. Unfortunately, the water has receded quite a bit since last year. To get to the beach, we had to walk through the sand and then a large area of rocks and mud where the water was last year. It was quite a trip.
I spent the first hour or so on the beach with Brittney, while most of everybody else went to the water trampoline that we had rented. Nate got back to help his dad with the sailboats and his buddy Dallin, when he arrived with his boat. While waiting, I looked down the beach and saw a family I wasn't expecting to see...the Keelers! Nate and I headed over there to say hello. It was so good to see Adam, Cera, Chris and their family. I love those guys!
We had to cut the reunion short and help Dallin with the boat. Kenz, Aaron and little Henry showed up soon after. :)

Nate was up first to go wakeboarding. He loved every second of it. Almost all of the guys went  wakeboarding, I enjoyed myself sitting and watching all the fun with lil' Hank.

Even Kenz went. She is one tough girl. I love it!

Aaron went tubing. I think Dallin and Nate had too much fun trying to throw him off. :) Being almost 6 months pregnant, I got pretty nervous about doing anything with the boat pulling me along. Nate convinced me to go tubing with him on the premise that Dallin took it easy. I was okay with that.
My hips hurt after awhile, but I didn't care, I was having a blast.

We headed back around 3 due to the large 24th of July Bitner luncheon. Do you see how many people there are? It's insane! I don't even try to keep track of who is related to who, unless they are close to Nate's age or one of the aunts or uncles. It's like this around Christmas time too!

Gal pal cousins, Jennetta (2 1/2) and Shaely (4)
After eating, we found ourselves playing crochet. Kenzie and I joined the game late, but we didn't care. I won! I never win at these kinds of games, especially with Nate's buddies. They're really good! Dallin had to go, which left Nate and Aaron to try out the sailboats. Kenz and I talked the whole time about pregnancy and her experience with Henry.
We got back and headed to one of the pools, thinking Nate's immediate family would be there. They were actually at the other one. Nate tried to go to the slide, he obviously doesn't fit. What a big kid at heart.
So he did a flip off the diving board.

We waded in the pool just talking.
Kenz and Aaron had to head back to Logan to put Henry down for bed. We went back to the condo to dry off and then watched some of the grandchildren and great grandchildren play "Pigs and Ducks". It's a weird game that involves quacking, oinking and candy; either way the little ones LOVE it!

The following morning, very few people went the beach due to the overcast weather. It was pretty cold outside too. We mostly hung around, played games and then went to La Beau's for lunch.

When we got back, we played more games and mostly hung out. We also went outside at one point to play frisbee.
After dinner, everyone went to play at the beach one last time.

Really cool sand sculptures: pyramids of Giza and a crocodile

The Warburton siblings decided to swim to the buoy and back.
Nate running back to me.

The little kiddos really enjoyed playing at the beach in the sand.

Seth and Nate tried to throw the football through the frisbee. They came really really close to succeeding.

Gorgeous scenery!
After the beach visit, we went to one of the pools to warm up. Needless to say, the hot tub was CROWDED! There were about 85-90 people in there and the sign says no more than 50. There was a large and loud youth group that just kept piling in--dumb teenagers.
When we got back, we sent the kids to bed and played Cards Against Humanity--it was HILARIOUS!

The following morning, we cleaned up the condo and headed to Tremonton.
