My sister-in-law, Jess, and my best friend, Tania, decided to throw a baby shower for me. I wish more of my gal pals were able to attend, but I was satisfied with those that were able to make it.
My sister-in-law, Jess, and my best friend, Tania, decided to throw a baby shower for me. I wish more of my gal pals were able to attend, but I was satisfied with those that were able to make it.
There was delicious food (loved the soup) and really good gifts.
We played some fun games. Including the "about-how-big-do-you-think-she-is" game, which was pretty funny. Congratulations Marisha! You got it.
My niece enjoyed claiming her spot all over the house. ;) Love that little one.
My beautiful, wonderful hosts!
Dani is a good aunt to have. I know Keira will love her.
It was so good to see everyone that came!
My niece did such a good job at watching the other babies, making sure they were okay and that their mothers knew if something was wrong.
After everyone left, Tania had one final gift for me. It was more for me than for little girl. Tania is going to be in Florida for the next four years to serve in US Air Force as a nurse. Years ago, I gave her a build-a-bear for her birthday. So it was only fitting that she gave me a build-a-bear in AF formal attire named Kinnigit (my nickname for her). It was so touching. I love this girl like a sister, literally.
After cleaning up, I ran some errands and then pick Jess and Chloe up to my in-laws baby shower. We used the same banner, it was SOO cute! My sister-in-laws decorated Nate's Grandma's place with many jungle themed decorations. I loved them. Brittney, I loved what you brought to the party! Em, your cake, was inspired. I want to make one now! :)
Zebra cake!
It was good to see and get advice from Nate's side of the family. We loved it.
My in-laws gave us a rocking chair/glider, which was really wonderful. Unfortunately, we weren't able to put it in the car, in the rain. It was pouring! So we took it apart and put it into my parent in-laws' car to get it later. I must say, I think Chloe had a little too much fun.
We headed home that night. What a weekend!
I'm 31 weeks along!!! Can't wait until she gets here.
