After taking a shower and getting ready for the day, Nate and I left for Sacramento to see Wicked. I had seen it before in high school and loved it, but Nate hadn't seen it before. He got me tickets as a graduation gift. And he bought me a Wicked t-shirt once we got to the theatre.

I'm so EXCITED for it to start!
It was good to see it again. I had forgotten about some parts that really made some scenes.
"Toss, toss" *giggle*
"Well we can't all travel by bubble"
"Oo pink goes good with green"
"It's Ga-Linda, with a Guh.."
"I see you've been ga-linda-fied."
"Oh, make it stop.."
"Um...Dr. Gillamond, can we stop reminiscing about the past and talk about history?"
The ditzy, hilarious actions of Glinda
Elphaba's continuous attempt to do good
Fiyero's noble acts
Nate's favorite part was "Defying Gravity" when she flies up into the air. He was impressed with all of the special effects that can happen in the realm of theatre. Oh yeah! It's better than TV and movies! We keep joking about Glinda's antics with her taekwondo motions, her heel pops and over-dramatic exaggerations.
Cool statue/fountain thing that sits outside the theatre
On the way back to Hercules from Sacramento, we stopped by Jack in the Box for dinner. It's like the Wendy's of California. Everyone there loves the place and they're everywhere. We got it to go and headed back to the house. We watched Flight of the Concords while we ate. When we finished, we decided to clean up the place for it was our last night. We needed to get up early tomorrow to make it to Grouse Creek on time, so cleaning and packing had to happen tonight. It was a great day full of adventures. Our 9 hour drive begins tomorrow, ending in the middle of nowhere--Grouse Creek, land of sagebrush and cattle.
