For the following week and a half, I was teaching all day to my class of 4th grade students. It was crazy and exhausting. Nate had to pick up the slack on what I couldn't do or get to each day. I love my man! It was a challenge and hard, but I am grateful for the experience. I learned a thing or two about planning lessons for the week based off of your 'scene and scope' (yearly planning). Nate made me a deal. If I survived my 1 1/2 weeks of student teaching, he would get me a gift. I survived...and he got me DKNY perfume! :) It smells very fancy and I'm grateful to have it. But now I'm done, complete, finished with school (formally) and will be graduating on May 5th at 4 p.m.
Amongst everything that was going on, we still managed to have fun. Nate's buddy, Dallin, was throwing a fondeu (I can't spell it) party and we were able to have dinner with Nate's cousin, Dan, and his wife, Karli, as well as some friends from our ward, Jess and Justin.
Congrats on finishing up! Yay for graduating!
