The morning began with Nate playing basketball with the ward's men's basketball team. When he got back, we went and picked up Bountiful Baskets. We were so surprised! You get a butt load of vegetables and fruit to take home for only 15 bucks. Worth it? I think so. You can do it as often as you want and every once in awhile you get a surprise like a coconut or a fig. This time round, we got an eggplant and pears.
Nate cleaned out the Subaru so he can sell it. Later we ran errands and then headed to the Center Street Grill for lunch with his family. Jake and Kim were in town for the Aggie basketball game, so we caught up with them as well at the restaurant. It was great and delicious. Nate and I went home to play some Rayman before taking a nap. It was well needed. Around 6:30, we went to his parents house for some family fun. Emily brought some caramel brownies that were really good. I spent a lot of the time talking to Kim and working on Nate's valentine's gift. He was in the room too...but he wasn't really paying attention. It was really good to enjoy the night with the Warburton Family, full of laughter and great conversations.
Those baskets sound like a great deal!!!
ReplyDeleteOh they really are! Look it up online to find a location near you. They do it all over. The produce food that isn't sold at the stores from the farmers is what you're given. You can go as frequently as you want and you pick it up on a Saturday during a certain time with a 20 min window.
