Oscar Birthday Party!

Nate and I spoke in church on Sunday. Little did I know that one of the Seventies was on the pulpit and going to be speaking too. Yeah...I feel a little dumb. The whole time I was up there, I had no clue who the guy was. Everyone kept saying Elder Koelliker over and over. You would think that I would get the hint by the title part, but no... Anyways, he gave a great talk and was really nice when we talked to him. We lounged around for a bit before heading to his sister's house for the Oscar/Birthday party.

Every year the Warburton fam gets together to see who will win the Oscars for the year. Nate and I didn't really watch many academy-nominated movies that came out this year so, we scored pretty low when we voted. Between watching  each award we played games and celebrated Emily's and Cecily's birthday. The food was delicious...meatballs, my cheese bread, rob's beef roast, veggies, and delicious desserts.

We played this really fun game called Dixit--kinda like Apples to Apples but with pictures.
Since it was the Academy Awards, we played using the theme of movie titles, in relation to our cards. It was a fun eventful night.
Little on the creepy side...
Nate kept making silly faces the whole time I tried to get a good smiley one. Silly goose! He finally makes faces that aren't 'the look' and it's not when I hopin' for it. Lol.
Jenetta was so entertained and smiley everywhere she went. Scott and Shaely enjoyed chasing each other everywhere they went. It got a little crazy with all the kids running about, but it made the family time all that more worth it.
We're rockin' it!
