Temple Square

On Thursday, Dec 15th I was finally able to relax and settle into the winter break ahead. Finals were over and I had the time to do whatever I wanted! So... I made Baked Potato Soup in our new crockpot for dinner that night and then watched VAMPIRE DIARIES! :) Our friends, Scott and Amanda came over around 5 for dinner in bread bowls, just about the time Nate got off work. It was delicious! When we were all done, we went to Temple Square to see the lights. It took us awhile to figure out where to park since it looked busier with the concert going on at the conference center. We ended up parking across the street from the Delta Center (and so shall it forever be named while I'm alive) and then rode trax up the street to Temple Square.

It was fun to walk around as couples to see temple square all lit up.

Along with getting yummy hot chocolate from the Joseph Smith Memorial building, we stopped in the old tabernacle to watch the concert that was going on in the Conference Center. We couldn't stay for the whole thing, but I enjoyed the story about King Wesceslas narrated by Jane Seymour and the music by MoTab

Overall, it was fun to get out and hang out with some friends. I loved seeing all the lights and I'm happy to be with the best guy ever!
