I've never had a real tree before in my life, so that night it was really exciting for me. After I got off work, Nate and I went on a quest to find a tree :) We went to Walmart to run some errands and then headed to Smith's. Almost every tree I picked out, Nate disapproved of cause of size or height. But we finally found one! So exciting! We brought it home...

We didn't decorate it until the next day due to homework and my art assignment, but we did it! For being newlyweds with a limited amount of money, we did alright as far as decorating goes.

Little Christmas spice... my great aunt gave us two holiday table runners for our wedding, which we have on our coffee table. I bought these and mistletoe last year. They work out pretty well for us :)

I'm excited for our first christmas together! :) It should be quite the fun and new experience for both of us.
