Busy week, busy life.
After the funeral on Saturday, Nate and I made our way back to Logan. We were still moving stuff into our humble abode. Around 5ish, I went to my friends apartment for Caci Larsen's bridal shower. The cute girl gets married tomorrow!! So excited for her and Tim! :)
This is what I call edible underwear! :)
Chocolate fountain was delicious!
Awesome hostess Sandra. She did a great job pulling all of it together for the first little while, we introduced ourselves and socialized. It was fun to listen to how everyone knew Caci. Everyone wrote a best wishes or marriage advice on a piece of scrapbook paper.
It didn't take long for the games to begin! This is the classic example of the bubble gum question game. Bride answers a question and if it's wrong (according to the groom), eat a piece of gum! I love this game, it's fun to see how the bride and groom's answers compare.
The next event involved a rose, "i love.." statements and a glass box. With each pedal, the bride says something about what she loves about the groom. Little does she know, there are far more pedals than you can expect. At the end, you dry them and put it into a glass box so that every time the question: "Why did I marry him?" pops into your head, you have a reminder. It was so cute!
The group, minus a few who had to leave early and our awesome photographer (mel's mom).
Caci's pile of gifts. Somehow, everyone got the memo that she needed a certain...something. So naturally, she got a whole weeks worth!!! It was hilarious! LOL. But I do have to say, I liked the variety of styles and colors. Anyhow, it was a fun event.
Congrats Caci and Tim! Marriage is SOO much fun!
